Scène Garonne • 21h45 - 22h45
With frontliners Lujipeka and Foda C, the collective from Rennes formed a passionate bond with its audience based on authenticity and proximity. Dozens of thousands of kids are sporting and claiming the now famous sweatshirt branded with the armed dove - or more like the winged shotgun - as a symbol of independence now surpassing the music itself. The modern-day teenagers’ answer to a world that’s falling to pieces, that’s bluntly what Columbine is about. Without calculation, these MCs use their personal experience to describe the anguish of being everywhere but belonging nowhere, from high school classes and college halls to concert venues throughout France. Independent and self-sufficient, off tracks and unrivalled, Columbine sets its own course.
